The Ascension Center is a specially designed yurt that embraces those nearing the end of life with a sense of comfort and warmth. It was created in response to a societal need—a vision for a new way to experience both life and death. Here, the goal is to support the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—as they embark on a journey into the unknown. In this safe space, the dying guest is invited to let go of fear and grief along with their physical form.
